This is how you sit healthy with the Vivi stool

Are you tired of stiff muscles and a tense back at the end of a long day at work? Then try dynamic sitting. Dynamic sitting means moving freely and naturally while sitting. With the Vivi stool this is very easy. Here are 5 tips for a healthy everyday working life:

1. Continuous micro-movements, such as gentle wiggling, activate the deep muscles that support the torso and relieve the strain on the spine.

2. Larger movements such as wiggling, rocking sideways and bouncing activate blood circulation and main muscles. Also try lifting your feet off the floor and balancing.

3. By moving regularly on the stool, ideally every 20 minutes, the circulation is activated and a different muscle group is used.

4. Getting up regularly, ideally once an hour, really gets your circulation going and relaxes your whole body.

5. Try not to sit for more than 6 hours at a time. Take a short walk every now and then and take some time out.

Sitting without a backrest

The introduction – gentle and targeted

If your back muscles still need some support or you currently have or have had back problems in the past, it is important to start slowly when starting to sit without a backrest. Just like with sport, you should practice regularly and moderately. Start in small stages and give your muscles time to develop in order to avoid overloading and "muscle soreness".

To start with, alternate between the stool and a chair with a backrest to give your back a rest. From week to week, you can increase the time you spend on the stool until your back is strong enough to support you for longer periods without support.

For healthy backs – full flexibility

If your back muscles are already strong, you can also use the stool to sit on for the entire time you are at your desk and keep your back strong and active during this time.

No matter where you start - with small steps you can achieve a strong posture and less back pain. Listen to your body - it usually tells us what is good for us and what is too much.

Viel bequemer als ich mir einen Holzhocker vorgestellt habe!

Der absolute Hingucker und Rückenretter überhaupt! Jeder, der den Hocker sieht, will unbedingt darauf sitzen und ist beeindruckt, wie beweglich und bequem ein Hocker aus Holz, der so schön aussieht, sein kann! Das ist wirklich ein ganz neues Sitzgefühl, welches ich vorher noch nie erlebt habe.

Sehr angenehm ist die unabhängige Beweglichkeit von linker und rechter Seite. Beim Sitzen trainiert man mehr oder weniger unbewusst die Rückenmuskulatur.

Schönes Design und sehr angenehm zu sitzen. Man kann ihn in beide Richtungen verwenden - mit der offenen Seite nach hinten oder nach vorn. Beides gut. Würde den Hocker jederzeit wieder kaufen. :-)
