Its range of movement is slightly reduced compared to the Einser and Vivi, which is why we also recommend the Achter as a beginner model. With its unique, three-dimensional range of movement, it is particularly suitable for dynamic sitting.

This is how you sit healthy with the Achter

Are you tired of stiff muscles and a tense back at the end of a long day at work? Then try dynamic sitting. Dynamic sitting means moving freely and naturally while you sit – it’s also a great option for people with ADHD, as movement can help them focus better and feel more comfortable. This is very easy with the Achter. Here are 5 tips for a healthy everyday working life:

1. Continuous micro-movements, such as gentle wiggling, activate the deep muscles that support the torso and relieve the strain on the spine.

2. Larger movements such as wiggling and swinging (from left to right and back and forth) and bouncing activate blood circulation and major muscles.

3. By moving regularly on the stool, ideally every 20 minutes, the circulation is activated and a different muscle group is used.

4. Getting up regularly, ideally once an hour, really gets your circulation going and relaxes your whole body.

5. Try not to sit for more than 6 hours at a time. Take a short walk every now and then and take some time out.

SITTING WITHOUT A BACKREST

The introduction – gentle and targeted

If your back muscles still need some support or you currently have or have had back problems in the past, it is important to start slowly when starting to sit without a backrest. Just like with sport, you should practice regularly and moderately. Start in small stages and give your muscles time to develop in order to avoid overloading and "muscle soreness".

At first, alternate between the stool and a chair with a backrest to give your back a rest. From week to week, you can increase the time you spend on the stool until your back is strong enough to support you for longer periods without support.

For healthy backs – full flexibility

If your back muscles are already strong, you can also use the stool to sit on for the entire time you are at your desk and keep your back active and healthy during this time.

No matter where you start - with small steps you can achieve a strong posture and less back pain. Listen to your body - it usually tells us what is good for us and what is too much.

Perfekter Bürostuhl

Ich war selbst überrascht wie gut man ohne Rückenlehne arbeiten kann. Ich habe normalerweise immer Schmerzen im unteren Rücken nach einem langen Arbeitstag. Seit ich auf dem Hocker arbeite ist das Geschichte. Durch das wackeln spürt man richtig wie sich der Rücken entspannt. Toll! Ich kann das nur wärmsten weiterempfehlen. Und kleine Randnotiz: er sieht natürlich auch fantastisch aus. (Haben wir nicht alle die Optik der klassischen Bürostühle satt?)

Bei uns ist der Hocker vielseitig in Verwendung, wir nutzen ihn gerne zum Sitzen am Esstisch oder beim Arbeiten, aber wir nutzen ihn auch als Couchtisch, für Deko wie den Adventkranz oder auch zum Baden unseres Babys!

Der 8er Hocker ist mein absoluter Favorit! Langes Sitzen wird endlich erträglich und wenn man mal nicht drauf sitzt eignet sich der Hocker ideal als Beistelltisch oder Stauraum - und das stylisch!

Fantastisch design & rugpijn verminderend

Super blij met de MOWO Achter! Strak en stijlvol, maar hij zorgt ook écht voor minder rugklachten. Na een lange werkdag voel ik duidelijk minder spanning in mijn rug en schouders. Een stoel die er mooi uitziet én je rug ondersteunt, is precies wat ik zocht, zeker omdat ik veel thuiswerk. Wat mij betreft de ideale combinatie van design en comfort!
