MOVE
WITH
WOOD
We work with elastic wood. ...Wait, what? Yes, you read that right: swaying, rocking, bouncing and wiggling on the finest molded plywood. It turns your desk into a place that’s fun – and good for you.
Better Posture
As soon as we move our hips while sitting, our upper body tends to straighten automatically.
Healthier Back
Small, steady movements loosen the back muscles and promote blood circulation.
More Concentration
A bit of wiggling keeps the body alert and stimulates the mind, helping us stay focused.

recommended by physiotherapists and osteopaths
"I find it particularly compelling that the soft wooden shapes automatically keep the body moving and promote an upright posture. This active sitting supports the entire spine and loosens the lower back. The stools are clever and effective, suitable as a preventative measure, but also good for people with existing complaints, especially in the lower back."
"I was looking for a chair for our dining room and office... something that is beautifully designed yet also encourages a straight back to reduce neck and back pain. With MOWO, I automatically sit straight and my pelvis and spine are always subtly in motion and keep my supporting muscles active."
"The design of the Einser offers a creative, playful and innovative solution to the functional demands of our low back. Indeed, the springy and mobile plywood structure allows for the pelvis, and thus the lumbar spine, to bend and twist in most planes, exposing the lower back to all of those movements that traditional office chair normally prevent."
OUR COLLECTIONS
An ergonomic office chair of a different kind: no screws, no levers, no plastic, and no metal. All we need is wood fiber, which is naturally strong and elastic. So strong, in fact, that our stools can take loads of 110 kg or more.
Made in Europe! All MOWOs are manufactured in Greece, south of Athens, by a family business that has specialized in the production of molded plywood since 1991. If you are wondering how our wood is shaped, watch this video from our manufacturer.
